when mixing peanuts should we turn off the flame coz in my case it became very difficult to mix it

I have it on a low heat, but I think you should be able to turn it off and mix very quickly before it cools.

Hi love your blog and refer to it often.
For this recipe, how do I know when the gur is the right consistency to add the peanuts?
Is there a strand/thread test or...?

Thanks.
